This paper takes an actual project as an example to conduct a test analysis of the actual operational performance and research on energy-saving optimization of medium-deep buried pipe heat pump heating technology. The tests indicate that the heating coefficient of performance (COP) of the heat pump unit in the dual-unit single-head mode is 7.59, and the heating COP of the heat pump system can reach 5.78, demonstrating good overall operational performance. However, the system still has significant issues of excessive heating. There are problems of hydraulic imbalance and heat leakage in the pipe network on the user side. Meanwhile, the heat pump unit and the distribution system also have certain energy-saving potential due to equipment issues and imperfect operational control. Corresponding optimization schemes are proposed to address these issues, providing directions for energy-saving optimization of this technology.
